Position: Tosca QA Engineer
Contract: W2 Only
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
Create and execute automated test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Implement risk-based testing strategies to ensure maximum coverage and efficiency.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions for various projects.
Identify, log, and track defects to closure while working closely with development teams.
Optimize and maintain Tosca test assets, modules, and test data.
Integrate Tosca automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and test documentation processes.
Stay current with Tosca updates and emerging test automation tools to improve testing efficiency.
Required Skills
12+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tosca automation.
Strong expertise in building and maintaining automated test cases using Tosca.
Experience with test case design techniques such as model-based testing, risk-based testing, and modular test case development.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar).
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, ALM, or similar).
Knowledge of API and database validation testing.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Nice-to-Have
Certification in Tricentis Tosca (Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2 or higher).
Experience integrating Tosca with test management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to performance or security testing tools.
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
Experience working in regulated domains such as finance, insurance, or healthcare.
Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise applications tested with Tosca.
