Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to support our ongoing upgrade project from Oracle EBS 12.2.1 to 12.2.12. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience with EBS R12.2.x versions and a deep understanding of functional process changes introduced during the transition from 12.1.x to 12.2.x, particularly across the Finance modules.

< data-start="1143" data-end="1173">Key Responsibilities:</>

  • Lead Fit-Gap analysis for Finance processes impacted by the version upgrade.

  • Evaluate and test changes to key financial processes, including SLA, tax calculations, and journal entry processing.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure compliance with Online Patching (ADOP) standards.

  • Validate and test enhancements in Fixed Assets (asset tracking, retirements, and depreciation changes in 12.2.9+).

  • Assist in validating ECC dashboards and BI Publisher reports introduced in newer versions.

  • Conduct regression and UAT testing for all financial flows.

  • Provide documentation and training to end users on new functionality or process adjustments.

< data-start="1839" data-end="1878">Mandatory Skills & Experience:</>

  • 8+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant.

  • Minimum 2 full lifecycle upgrades to Oracle EBS 12.2.x (ideally through 12.2.10 or above).

  • Strong understanding of changes between 12.1.x and 12.2.x (UI enhancements, SLA changes, AME integration, ECC dashboards).

  • Hands-on experience with core modules: GL, AR, FA, and Costing.

  • Experience with financial reporting tools (BI Publisher, FSGs, Oracle Reports).

  • Familiarity with Oracle s Online Patching and Cutover phases (functional perspective).
