Job Description : Director of Software Sales
Location : Atlanta, GA (Remote with occasional travel - expenses covered by company)

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Director of Software Sales to lead and drive our software services sales initiatives. This strategic role requires a proven sales leader who can develop new business opportunities, manage key client relationships, and contribute to our overall revenue growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing software services sales opportunities across enterprise accounts
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in target accounts
- Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure
- Collaborate with technical teams to craft compelling proposals and solutions that address client needs
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to senior leadership
- Mentor and guide sales team members to enhance overall team performance
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in software services
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in software services sales with a track record of exceeding targets
- Strong experience selling enterprise software solutions and professional services
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with deal sizes of $500K+
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies, cloud services, and digital transformation solutions
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives
- Self-motivated with strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales analytics tools
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed (expenses covered)
