Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Lansing, Michigan
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 2 days per week)
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership

Container Orchestration and CI/CD Automation

  • OpenShift/Kubernetes Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and technical expertise in Red Hat OpenShift V4 and Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD Automation: Hands-on experience automating CI/CD needs on RedHat OpenShift / OCP, Linux, Windows, SQL Server, and Oracle environments.
  • Containerization Expertise (5+ Yrs): Act as an expert in application containerization management. Create Docker and S2I images, Stateful sets, and manage the Quay image repository.
  • Deployment Pipelines: Create and integrate Azure DevOps (ADO) Build and Deploy Pipelines to build apps and container images for Java and .Net applications (integrating with Apache Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, etc.).
  • OpenShift Configuration: Experience in creating Build, Deployment, and other CRD config files for applications on OpenShift, including using Custom Helm charts.

DevSecOps and Security Integration

  • Security Scanning: Working experience with SonarQube, Coverity, and Black Duck and integrating these security scanning tools into ADO Pipelines and Pull Request flows.
  • DevSecOps Practices (5+ Yrs): Deep experience with DevSecOps practices, infrastructure, and scripting/programming.
  • Network & Security Foundation: Strong knowledge of SSL, TCP/IP Networking, and LDAP. Troubleshoot application and security issues in the OpenShift environment.

Monitoring and Administration

  • ELK Stack (5+ Yrs): Deep knowledge and experience with Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) version 8.X and higher.
  • ELK Administration: Responsible for Elastic stack administration, performance, and capacity management, including Index curation/retention management and Logstash/grok configuration.
  • Scripting: Strong experience in Linux Shell Scripting (8+ Yrs) using .ksh, bash, and Python.
