Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Contract: W2 Only

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and lead the delivery of scalable, high-quality enterprise applications. This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive architecture decisions, mentor development teams, and collaborate closely with business and engineering stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, modern development practices, and a passion for building robust, maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of .NET-based applications
  • Define and enforce coding standards, architecture, and best practices
  • Act as a technical lead for development teams, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Participate in architecture discussions, solution design, and technology selection
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
  • Review code to ensure quality, performance, and security standards
  • Drive adoption of modern .NET technologies and design patterns
  • Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
  • Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with strong focus on .NET technologies
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+
    • ASP.NET Core (Web API, MVC)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
    • SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework / EF Core
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development
  • Proficiency with Git and modern branching strategies
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/Google Cloud Platform acceptable)
  • Knowledge of Azure services (App Services, Functions, SQL, Storage, Service Bus)
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Frontend experience with Angular / React
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks
  • Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305) are a plus
