Position Title : Security Operations Lead
Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid)
Duration:6+ Months Contract with Possible of extension

Job Description : Look for Local Candidates Only - Dearborn, MI (Hybrid Onsite 3 days per week, Tue Thu)
Application Security Operations
  • Oversee the operational use and effectiveness of application security tools such as DAST, SAST, and SCA.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate security testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Ensure vulnerabilities identified by these tools are triaged, tracked, and remediated effectively.
  • Provide guidance on interpreting scan results and prioritizing remediation for application-level vulnerabilities.
Cloud Security
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security services, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, and Azure Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR).
  • Assess and harden Azure environments (IaaS, PaaS) and related network security configurations.
Infrastructure Vulnerability Management
  • Proactively manage and conduct regular vulnerability assessments using Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Maintain continuous security posture management across cloud and hybrid environments, identifying misconfigurations and weaknesses.
  • Work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to prioritize and apply security controls and patches based on assessment findings.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • 3 5 years of relevant information security experience, ideally in Security Operations (ISO).
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management, cloud security, and application security processes.
Preferred Certifications (one or more):
  • CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • CISM Certified Information Security Manager
  • AZ-500 Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • CySA+ CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+
  • CEH Certified Ethical Hacker
