Job Title: Network Engineer III
Location: Huntsville, TX (Hybrid Onsite & Telework)
Duration: 18 months
Work Schedule: Full-Time (Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)

Position Summary:

A seasoned Network Engineer III is needed to provide hands-on support for networking and telecommunications infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for configuring, programming, and troubleshooting various network equipment such as routers, switches, DSLAMs, and nanobeam systems. This role also includes monitoring network circuits, resolving anomalies, and supporting internal systems across multiple locations.

This is a hybrid role with an onsite presence required in Huntsville, TX. Occasional travel or in-person meetings may be necessary with advance notice. Candidates must cover their own travel and lodging expenses if applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, DSLAMs, and wireless systems.

Monitor network performance and respond to anomalies proactively to avoid service interruptions.

Support existing network infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and security.

Document configurations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
