FishEye Software has an immediate opening for a Mid/Senior C++ Software Engineer to support the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Program - a cutting-edge defense initiative enhancing Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) capabilities. This program enables seamless radar data exchange across multiple naval platforms, providing a unified, real-time display of tactical information critical to mission success.
As part of this high-impact team, you will design, develop, and verify complex C++ software and systems solutions that advance the next generation of defense technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and test C++ software for real-time and embedded defense systems.
- Participate in design, code reviews, and verification to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, interfaces, and integration plans.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical challenges within multi-threaded and distributed systems.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in development tools, processes, and coding standards.
Required Skills:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- 4+ years of hands-on C++ software development experience
- Proficiency in Linux-based environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and CI/CD practices
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded programming
- Proficiency with Git, ClearCase, SVN, or similar version control systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Windows, VxWorks, or similar embedded operating systems
- Radar domain knowledge or experience in defense or aerospace systems
- Understanding of software systems modeling using UML or SysML
