**Position Overview:**
The SAP Ariba & Fieldglass Security Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the security protocols, permissions, and access controls within the SAP Ariba and Fieldglass platforms. As an essential part of our IT team, this role ensures that our procurement and vendor management systems operate securely and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer, manage, and fine-tune user roles, permissions, and access controls in SAP Ariba and Fieldglass systems.
- Monitor system activity and perform regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with procurement and IT teams to align security practices with business processes.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents within the Ariba and Fieldglass environments.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures for users of the SAP Ariba and Fieldglass platforms.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques relevant to the SAP Ariba and Fieldglass ecosystems.
- Provide training and support to end-users on security best practices and procedures.
- Work with external auditors as needed to demonstrate security controls and compliance.

**Qualifications:**
- In-depth understanding of SAP Ariba and Fieldglass modules with a focus on security features and best practices.
- Proven experience in the administration of ERP security, ideally within the SAP environment.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with users and IT staff at all levels.
- A relevant certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass) is desirable.

**Experience:**
- Prior experience in an SAP security administration role, with specific focus on Ariba and/or Fieldglass platforms.
- Experience with security audits and compliance regulations pertinent to business procurement systems.

**Educational Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions promptly.

**Working Conditions:**
- This position may require occasional travel to support business needs.
- Must be able to participate in out-of-hours support and maintenance activities as required.
