Onsite IT Project Manager -PMP - Tallahassee, FL

• One Year Assignment with possible extension
• 40 hours - Monday-Friday
• Cloud Migration for Government Entity

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a PMP certification to lead mission-critical projects, including a major Cloud Migration initiative and other enterprise IT efforts. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Cloud Migration project (50%) and other IT initiatives (50%).
• Ensure project deliverables are met in line with approved schedules.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and required artifacts.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
• Manage change requests and provide recommendations to project sponsors.
• Resolve conflicts constructively and maintain productive team dynamics.
• Ensure adherence to state and industry IT project management standards.

Required Qualifications:

• PMP Certification.
• 3+ years of experience managing IT projects.
• Strong understanding of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Florida IT Project Management Standards (Rules 60GG-1.001 to 60GG-1.009).
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 20000 standards.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Microfocus PPM.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage diverse project teams and stakeholders.

Tools & Technologies:

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Microfocus PPM
• Cloud technologies (experience preferred)
