What You ll Do
The Project Manager will lead and oversee end-to-end execution of complex operational and technology-focused initiatives. You will be responsible for planning, analyzing, coordinating, and executing high-priority projects while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional documentation skills to manage cross-functional teams and maintain momentum across multiple initiatives. You will work closely with business units, technical teams, and leadership stakeholders to optimize performance, streamline processes, and ensure timely delivery of mission-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of complex projects from inception to completion.
Conduct assessments, research, analysis, and planning to support effective project implementation.
Develop project charters, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and status reports.
Maintain project management data and dashboards for tracking major initiatives and milestones.
Prepare and deliver progress updates and briefings to senior and executive leadership.
Identify gaps in operational effectiveness and develop reports with recommended improvements.
Map business processes, identify optimization opportunities, and facilitate solution-oriented workshops.
Document and track project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop contingency plans and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate across multiple teams, ensuring alignment, removing barriers, and promoting collaboration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and cross-functional partners.
Develop written materials including administrative reports, briefing documents, and presentations.
Facilitate recurring project meetings, status updates, and team discussions to ensure progress and accountability.
Support development of statements of work, design documentation, test plans, budgets, and resource plans.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience researching, analyzing, and correlating data to solve complex problems and prepare concise reports.
8+ years of experience identifying technology or operational gaps and delivering improvement recommendations.
8+ years of project management experience leading multiple projects across large organizations.
8+ years of experience managing project plans, documenting risks/issues, and developing contingency plans.
8+ years of experience mapping business processes and identifying process improvements.
8+ years of experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and group problem-solving sessions.
8+ years of experience developing project artifacts such as SOWs, charters, budgets, schedules, test plans, and risk assessments.
8+ years of experience building strong partnerships with project sponsors and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of experience summarizing and escalating issues appropriately to leadership.
1+ year of experience preparing weekly status updates, meeting notes, and project documentation.
Experience creating briefing documents, administrative reports, and presentations for executive audiences.
Experience working in consulting, public sector environments, or large enterprise project structures.
PMP or equivalent Project Management certification (preferred, not required).
