The Bentley Nevada Team is looking for a Sr. Engineer Manager to lead a large multi disciplinary hardware engineering team focused on the development of next generation condition monitoring and protection systems for very critical and essential equipment across industries.

A successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading the execution of product design, validation, and certification of industrial grade embedded systems


  • Lead a hardware engineering team focused on the development of next generation best in class condition monitoring and protection systems for very critical and essential equipment across industries


  • Demonstrate strong technical leadership and people management skills including solid communication and analytical skills with thorough understanding of end to end product development processes.


  • Work with product managers, application engineers and system architects to develop multi generation product and technology plans


  • Influence decision making through active partnership with cross-functional teams. Work closely with other product and technology teams to ensure that programs, strategies, and processes are aligned with the overall organisation direction.


  • Inspire and shape hardware devices as a critical part of our digital growth strategy. Conceptualise, evangelise, plan and execute a comprehensive edge to cloud strategy for accelerated development and commercialisation of solutions


  • Drive a culture of meritocracy with focus on competency assessment, performance reviews and upskilling


  • Drive a culture of integrity and compliance with 100% engagement on health, safety and environment priority



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Functional Management.




    Desired Skills:
    • Previous experience in end to end new product development and lifecycle support
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Experience of condition monitoring domain, Bently products and application
    • Demonstrates understanding of model base design practices and tools
    • Additional leadership experience in areas of operations, manufacturing and quality preferred
