Job Details

ASSYST is hiring a PeopleSoft FSCM Developer to support our client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, developing, integrating, and maintaining ERP applications with a strong focus on PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. The role requires expertise in ETL processes for data conversion, building and maintaining interface programs, and working with third-party integrations.

You will collaborate with a large remote team, contribute to all phases of the SDLC, and ensure seamless ERP application functionality. Occasional off-hours work may be required depending on the project phase.

Job Title: PeopleSoft FSCM Developer
Location: Austin, TX

Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Wednesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, develop, test, and debug ERP programming systems.
  • Ensure full integration of applications within the PeopleSoft ERP environment.
  • Convert data from legacy systems into PeopleSoft using ETL procedures.
  • Develop new interface programs to and from third-party systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively within a large, distributed team environment.
  • Perform standard SDLC and project-related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: Required Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
  • Development expertise using PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Packages, Application Engine, Cobol, SQR).
  • Integration experience with Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL development in an Oracle database environment.
  • Linux OS scripting knowledge.
  • Experience working with Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and produce detailed technical design documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio).
  • Strong collaboration experience using MS Teams with large teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local Government).
  • Familiarity with the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system.
  • Knowledge of the Treasury Offset Program (TOP).
  • Experience with SharePoint, Jira, Scrum framework, and STAT.
