Description and Requirements
This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the US.
Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is looking for a skilled and forward-thinking WW Solution Architect to lead the adoption and integration of Enterprise IT, Business Application solutions. The ideal candidate will focus on designing, optimizing, and promoting targeted solution architectures centered around Lenovo's core server, storage and networking portfolio, organic and 3rd party SW ecosystem partners, and services.

Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is looking for a skilled and forward-thinking WW Solution Architect to lead the adoption and integration of Enterprise IT, Business Application solutions. The ideal candidate will focus on designing, optimizing, and promoting targeted solution architectures centered around Lenovo's core server, storage and networking portfolio, organic and 3rd party SW ecosystem partners, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- In partnership with a peer Enterprise IT Business Solutions Program Manager, develop optimized solution architectures leveraging Lenovo Infrastructure, ecosystem partnerships with clear market differentiation.
- Recommend optimized solution architectures for Corporate/Global enterprises as well as Small & Medium Business.
- Provide technical guidance to sales, customers and partners on deploying and managing Enterprise business solutions on Lenovo platforms.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and support regions on proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations to showcase solution capabilities.
- Work closely with ecosystem partners to stay updated on the latest features, best practices, and advancements in Datacenter and Edge technologies.
- Collaborate with internal Lenovo teams to align solution offerings with market demands and emerging technologies.
- Own development and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including solution guides, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Lead Lenovo Validated Design testing and certification process
- Advocate for Enterprise IT solutions in the industry through conferences, webinars, and blogs.
- Provide insights into emerging trends and technologies to influence Lenovo's product roadmap.
- Experienced in creating virtualization and container solutions. (e.g., Kubernetes, VMware, Scale Computing and OpenShift)
- Experienced in Microsoft business intelligence solutions for on-premise that help organizations gather, analyze, visualize and share data to make informed decisions.
- Experienced in enterprise content applications for on-premise environments looking for robust content management, collaboration, compliance and control solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in solution architecture and/or enterprise IT
- Demonstrated success in deploying and optimizing On Prem Enterprise IT datacenter or edge platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise IT infrastructure architecture (server, storage, networking), including its integration and deployment methodologies.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Understanding of the SW ecosystem and position of the major partners across infrastructure workloads
- Understanding of Microsoft Business Intelligence ecosystem solutions (e.g., MS 365)
- Understanding of ECM, DAM, collaboration, file sharing for on-prem deployment.
- Strong understanding of Azure, SQL, CRM and ERP solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
- Passion for IT innovation and enterprise-grade solution delivery.
- Knowledge of major SW ecosystem players in Enterprise IT
- Ability to stay ahead of technological advancements and integrate them effectively.
- Strong customer focus with a drive to deliver impactful solutions.
