Role: ServiceNow Yokohama Engineer Locations: 100% Remote Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Description:
Support the MSI Transition Project by contributing to the transformation of legacy ServiceNow systems to the Yokohama version.
This role is part of Sprint -1 and focuses on Agile delivery of new capabilities across multiple ServiceNow modules.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Agile teams to implement new ServiceNow capabilities for:
IT Financial Management (ITFM)
IT Service Level Management (ITSLM)
Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
IT Operations Management (ITOM)
IT Enterprise Architecture (ITEA)
Design and develop data integrations, ETL pipelines, and workflows in ServiceNow Yokohama.
Support CMDB modeling, domain separation, and SLA automation.
Ensure compliance with CJIS and state-level security requirements.
Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and backlog grooming.
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scoped Applications
Experience with ServiceNow Tables, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scheduled Jobs
Strong understanding of CMDB structure, CSDM framework, and ITOM Discovery
Ability to build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with external systems
Familiarity with Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Data Sources
Experience with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of ServiceNow Yokohama features and upgrade best practices
Required Qualifications:
Eligible to pass FBI CJIS background check
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or data engineering
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Yokohama or recent versions
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint execution
Experience with ITFM, ITSLM, CSDM, ITOM, and ITEA modules
Preferred Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, CSDM)
Micro-Certifications in Agile, CMDB Health, Integration Hub
ITIL v4 Foundation
SAFe 5 Practitioner
Self-driven and able to work independently or within a team
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem)
