Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment within a close-knit organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT support and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support for Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring smooth operation and resolving user issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems for both Windows and Apple devices.
Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user account setup and configuration.
Diagnose and address basic networking issues, including connectivity and configuration challenges.
Deliver superior customer service by responding promptly to technical inquiries and ensuring user satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions for recurring technical problems.
Support and configure backup technologies to ensure data integrity and security.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of Dell and other computer hardware.
Utilize Citrix and Cisco technologies to provide remote access and maintain system functionality.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to enhance IT support services.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or desktop support roles.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its associated tools.
Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues across multiple platforms, including Apple and Dell devices.
Proficiency in Active Directory management and configuration.
Basic understanding of network troubleshooting and configuration.
Experience with Citrix, Cisco, and backup technologies.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Willingness to learn and collaborate with a team-oriented mindset.
