Job Details

Job Title: Associate Research Program Manager
Location: Tarrytown, NY
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60 - $80 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid
Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM M-F

Responsibilities:
Using prior project, process, and database system management knowledge and experience, this individual leads the operational aspects of the Research Publications Review and the Research Conference Funding processes. This role requires cross-functional interactions with external and internal stakeholders and provides essential support to the Research and Preclinical Development organization.
  • System: Functioning as the technical expert and business owner of existing systems and tools in order to perform required tasks
  • Process: With minimal input from others, following established processes and demonstrating good judgement to make quality and timely decisions of limited scope and complexity
  • Information: Identifying information gaps or inconsistencies. Working within and across functional areas to curate information and update in relevant systems
  • Problem Solving: Identifying issues in systems and processes, and providing timely solutions and/or escalating when needed
  • Communication: Ensuring effective, accurate, and timely communication with supervisor, executive leadership, and extended stakeholders
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in a related field and typically 6+ years of project/process/system management experience.
  • Can balance multiple projects and priorities with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Have general scientific background and ability to organize and curate information
  • Are action oriented and well organized.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to optimally get along with team members with tact
  • Can develop good communication and working relationships with leaders and individuals within groups
  • Are able to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization and support information curation and project operational management activities
