Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior GIS Specialist for a Full Time assignment with one of our premier Utility clients in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities :
- This person will be required to design, develop, and implement mobile and web-based applications.
- Applications supported will include internal and external end users.
- They will need to understand the stakeholders' business requirements and possess the ability to act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Responsibilities will include but not be limited to identifying, investigating, and resolving data conflicts, system performances, server configurations, and connectivity issues
- They are required to act as a technical lead or lead project efforts.
- They will support the redevelopment of outdated custom applications
- Strong skills with FME troubleshooting
- Tools needed:
- Esri Enterprise, specifically ArcGIS
- Two years of experience developing and/or troubleshooting applications in Esri Enterprise, Geocortex Essentials, or similar platforms
- Two years of experience with automating tasks using tools such as FME Desktop, python, or ArcPy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency

- Proficient with Python
