This company is looking for a strong Lead SQL Developer to join their team in Dallas, TX!
Required Skills And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications in a production environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases for high-volume applications.
  • Advanced experience with C#, .NET Core, LINQ, and Entity Framework (EF) for back-end development.
  • Proven experience building BI tools, dashboards, and custom reporting frameworks.
  • Familiarity with at least one popular web application framework (e.g., ASP.NET, Django, Ruby on Rails).
  • Experience working with front-end technologies such as Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Bootstrap is a strong plus.
Nice To Have
  • Experience working in the insurance, fintech, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and API development (RESTful APIs, GraphQL).
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Understanding of data privacy, security best practices, and compliance in web applications.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using C#, .NET Core, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries and database structures to support data-intensive operations and reporting.
  • Build and maintain custom dashboards, BI tools, and reporting frameworks that deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using modern technologies like Vue.js and Bootstrap.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with product managers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of features.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support modular, service-oriented architecture.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for coding, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Contribute to code reviews, mentor junior developers, and help shape the technical direction of the team.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
