Job Details

Education:
This classification requires the possession of (a) a bachelor s degree, and (b) a current certification in one or more of the following technologies.
1) Azure Local Solutions Architect Expert
2) VMware Cloud Professional

Experience:
VMware vSphere: Over 5 years of hands-on experience managing VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter.
Skilled in VM provisioning, resource optimization, high availability, and preparing workloads for seamless cloud migration.
Microsoft Azure (Local Integration): Over 5 years of experience integrating on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft Azure using services like Azure Arc and Site Recovery.
Successfully led multiple migrations from VMware to Azure Stack HCI and hybrid Azure setups, ensuring secure, efficient, and low-downtime transitions.

Skills:
The Senior Multi-Cloud Architect (SMCA) usually works under the direction of a Manager or user agency personnel and manages or oversees all aspects of one or more Multi-Cloud IT projects while interacting with mid-level officials of similar capacity at the user agency and private sector.
The SMCA determines appropriate products or services with clients or customers to support customer applications requirements and deliverables; develops, modifies or provides input to project plans; implements Multi-Cloud solutions to meet objectives; coordinates and integrates Multi Cloud services; manages, leads or administers project resources; monitors implementation activities and resources to mitigate risk; implements or maintains quality assurance processes; makes improvements, solves problems or takes corrective action when problems arise; gives presentations or briefings on all aspects of the project; participates in phase, milestone and final solution reviews; identifies documentation requirements or procedures; and develops and implements deployment schedules and release plans.
The SMCA designs or conducts analytical studies, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses or other research; evaluates, monitors or ensures compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards or procedures; identifies standards or requirements change management; participates in change control (for example, reviewing change requests); implements information systems security plans and procedures; and ensures appropriate product-related training and documentation are developed and made available to customers.
