Description
Design, build, and scale Java 21 micro-services that clear trades, settle cash, and orchestrate workflows across AWS.
Lead our Postgres ? Aurora migration-schema redesign, data-model refactor, zero-downtime cut-over.
Own end-to-end service health (SLIs/SLOs, load testing, feature-flag roll-outs, incident retros).
Pair with Staff Engineers to slash batch-processing times and remove Ruby stop-gaps still lurking in the toolchain.
Mentor engineers, review PRs, and drive pragmatic engineering rituals that balance delivery speed with uncompromising quality.

7+ years shipping production Java (Spring Boot) back-end systems at scale.
Deep SQL, relational schema & data-modeling expertise; you know why an index disappeared after a partition move.
Experience operating distributed systems on AWS (or Google Cloud Platform/Azure) and tuning them for resiliency, cost, and observability.
Proven track record leading migrations or green-field builds where money, risk, or compliance mattered.
Comfortable reading (or pruning) Ruby scripts that support build/deploy workflows.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $95.00/hr.
