Location: Boston/New Jersey
Duration: Full-time
Mode of work: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)
Job Duties
The Sr. Data Analyst (Technical) / Data Reconciliation Analyst will work with a large client / Wealth Management and Investment Management firm. The role is pivotal in supporting the client s Data Reconciliation efforts, including the validation of Booking System data and data in Data Warehouse / Data Store and other systems. The Analyst will perform technical data reconciliation, data validation, data analysis, ensuring identification of breaks in trade and booking data, exceptions and other data issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science or related fields: 12+4 years.
Preferably MS in Computer Science or related fields Duties:
- Perform data reconciliation for high-volume trades, booking entries and other system-of-record entries to ensure accuracy and consistency between systems.
- Analyze and validate data across systems to identify discrepancies, technical breaks, and unreconciled items.
- Investigate data inconsistencies and provide detailed reports to supervisors for further action.
- Collaborate with supervisors and business teams to understand the root causes of breaks and assist in resolving open issues.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, SQL queries, and data analysis techniques to process and validate large datasets.
