Role Title: Power Apps AI Developer / Architect
Location: Maple Grove- MN (Hybrid preferred)
Duration: 6 12 Months
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Apps AI Developer/Architect to lead the design and implementation of intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-code/no-code application development, AI-driven workflows, and enterprise integration, with a focus on delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deliver end-to-end Power Platform solutions that integrate Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and external systems like Workday and ServiceNow.
- Design and implement approval management agents to monitor pending approvals, notify users, and enable in-line actions via Microsoft Teams or Outlook.
- Develop and customize Copilot and Power Virtual Agent experiences to enhance user interactions with enterprise workflows.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and deliver proof-of-concepts (POCs) and production-ready applications.
- Establish and enforce best practices around governance, security, and component reusability across all Power Platform solutions.
- Provide thought leadership and technical direction on integrating AI capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse.
- Expertise in Copilot Studio, prompt orchestration, and designing AI-powered workflows.
- Solid experience building with adaptive cards, JSON, and Microsoft Teams integration.
- Proficient in the AI Builder and understanding of natural language processing use cases within Power Platform.
- Experience in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, especially in building approval workflows integrated with Teams and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Power Platform security models, data policies, environment strategies, and admin best practices.
- Strong background in business process automation, RPA, or chatbot development frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps for Power Platform using GitHub or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business and IT stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect) or PL-400 (Power Platform Developer).
- Prior experience working in a regulated industry or handling sensitive data with compliance considerations.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Services, OpenAI models, or similar cognitive services.
