Job Title: Identity Architect-SailPoint IdentityNow
Location: Remote
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Identity Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise identity management solutions. This role involves working closely with IT, security, and business teams to ensure alignment between identity services and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in identity governance, privileged access management, and customer identity systems, particularly with SailPoint IdentityNow. The candidate should be well-versed in industry security standards and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain identity management architecture aligned with business and IT strategies.
- Design and implement identity governance and administration (IGA) frameworks.
- Collaborate with business units to understand identity lifecycle needs and integrate secure, efficient solutions.
- Implement and manage privileged identity systems to secure critical assets and access controls.
- Configure and maintain customer identity platforms for authentication, SSO, and user access.
- Monitor identity systems and troubleshoot any operational or security issues.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as PCI, SOX, HIPAA/HITECH, and frameworks like NIST and ISO27001.
- Partner with internal teams to support security incident investigations involving identity data.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
- Stay current with trends and advancements in identity and access management technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of identity governance, access management, and privileged access systems.
- Solid understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and SoD (Segregation of Duties).
- Experience with SailPoint IdentityNow is required.
- Familiarity with information security standards and compliance regulations (PCI, SOX, HIPAA, OWASP, NIST, ISO27001).
- Experience implementing security at application, network, and operating system levels.
- Proficiency with mainstream technologies from Oracle, IBM, and Microsoft.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership in business terms.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Security Architect or Identity Architect role.
- Must possess at least one security certification: Security+, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, CCSP, CISSP, etc.
- Extensive hands-on experience with identity platforms, especially SailPoint IdentityNow.
