We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead initiatives focused on youth online safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly, deliver results under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and provide pragmatic, creative solutions to complex business challenges. This role requires strong judgment, concise business-focused advice, and the ability to build consensus across diverse teams, including public affairs, legal, operations, programs, and product. Experience working with policy stakeholders and policymakers, as well as thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment, is essential. Strong analytical and writing skills, a solid work ethic, and attention to detail are required.


Responsibilities


Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to monitor, respond to, and anticipate youth online safety and well-being issues.


Develop frameworks to proactively identify online risks, create mitigation strategies, and effectively communicate these strategies to cross-functional partners.


Engage with expert stakeholders to inform content and product policies, tools, operational responses, programs, and resources.


Advise and support on youth safety and well-being public policy, content and product policies, tools, operational responses, programs, communications, and resources.


Partner with policy, operations, product, integrity, and program teams to empower users to safely build connections and communities.


Represent in meetings with policymakers and key safety policy stakeholders.


Key Must-Have Skills


Execution under pressure: Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.


Cross-functional collaboration: Experience building consensus across diverse teams (public affairs, legal, ops, product, etc.).


Policy & stakeholder experience: Background in working with policymakers, regulators, and external stakeholders.


Analytical & writing expertise: Strong ability to analyze issues, draft policy frameworks, and communicate clearly.


Judgment & pragmatism: Ability to provide concise, business-focused advice and sound decision-making.


Fast-paced adaptability: Track record of thriving in dynamic, rapidly growing environments.


Policy development experience (must have).


8+ years of experience in related fields.


Nice-to-Have Skills


Advanced degree (Political Science, Policy, Law, Computer Science, or related).


AI/Tech policy expertise: Experience advising on AI technologies, online platforms, and emerging tech.


Crisis handling: Experience with escalations and sensitive policy issues.


Adversarial testing: Familiarity with red-teaming and risk simulation.


AI policy awareness: Understanding of industry trends, stakeholders, and research initiatives.


Public/government background: Candidates from government or regulatory agencies are a plus.
