Job Description:

Job Title: Senior Technical Writer

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Onsite 5 days, M-F)
Type: Full Time/W2

What you will do:

Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of product and documentation requirements Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for intended audiences. Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities Create and maintain the information architecture

What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, including experience writing software documentation Proficiency at writing impeccable content in U.S. English
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and make them easily understandable in text and graphics
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Snagit, and other documentation tools
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and convert high-level directives to deliverables
  • Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Professional Writing, English, Journalism, or Computer Science; or commensurate experience

What would be great to have:

  • 10+ years of relevant technical writing experience
  • Financial services or banking industry experience
