Job Details

Teceze is hiring an experienced Field IT Engineer to support one of our prestigious clients. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in desktop and laptop support, hardware/software troubleshooting, imaging, and IT asset management. This is an on-site role requiring excellent technical, communication, and coordination skills to ensure seamless IT operations and user satisfaction.
The Field IT Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including computers, peripherals, printers, and conference room equipment. The role also involves vendor coordination, inventory management, VIP user support, and hands-and-feet assistance for backend and data center teams.
Candidates with proven expertise in Windows and Mac environments, Office 365 support, and basic networking (DHCP/DNS) are highly preferred. Prior experience providing on-site technical support rather than remote or service-desk-only experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems, peripherals, and software.
Manage hardware repairs, replacements, and vendor coordination.
Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues and network connectivity problems.
Provide high-touch VIP and conference room support (AV/conferencing setup).
Manage printer installations, Office 365 issues, and coverage/compliance software.
Maintain accurate IT inventory and ensure SLA compliance.
Provide Hands & Feet support for server, network, and data center operations.
Document incidents, solutions, and create knowledge base entries.
Preferred Skills
L1 level network troubleshooting (LAN, DHCP, DNS).
Familiarity with data center environments and physical server support.
Experience with hardware racking, cabling, and labeling.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving mindset and customer-focused approach
