DPP is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:
- Partial onsite: Onsite 3 days/week (Tues., Wed., Thurs.) and as needed. Remote 2 days/week.
- W2 position; 12 months
- In a typical day, a Sr. Business Systems Analyst I will spend the majority of their time communicating with stakeholders and project team members via MS Outlook and MS Teams.
- They will elicit requirements that reflect stakeholder needs and develop acceptance criteria that validate those requirements.
- They will document this information in Business Requirements documents (BRDs) and Design documents using MS Office products.
- They will review test plans and matrices for accuracy.
- They will research project defects and will triage these defects to appropriate team members.
- The team consists of approximately 14 Business Systems Analysts, many of whom are highly experienced and serve as subject matter experts across various functional areas.
- Areas of focus include enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, vendor relations, claims settlement, reporting, and data analytics.
- The team fosters a collaborative environment where information is shared freely and openly.
- Known for a balanced culture that is both laid-back and highly productive.
- Team members set high standards for themselves and their work, consistently delivering quality outcomes.
- Hours: 8:30-5:00 - Potential for overtime, off hours and/or weekend work with gained experience in the area.
- Microsoft products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Windows operating systems
- Data mining tools
- Microsoft Visio
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (to speak with stakeholders, team members and management)
- Adaptability (to work on projects for different systems)
- Time management skills (to handle multiple projects on their workload)
- Ability to elicit meaningful requirements (asking questions to drill down to bottom line needs when the candidate isn t familiar with the topic, system or stakeholders)
- 6 years of IT business analysis experience.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
- OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
