Job Title: Mainframe Customer/1, EDI Senior Developer
Location - Waltham, MA or Syracuse, NY
Hire Type: Fulltime Permanent
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
" Customer/1 System and EDI
" Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2,MQ and other mainframe technologies
Experience Required
- Hands on work experience in working Customer/1 Systems & EDI
- Technical and Functional Subject-Matter Expert (SME) Support of Customer/1 application
- CIS functional understanding
- Mainframe Development in COBOL/DB2 & MQ
Roles & Responsibilities
" Perform Requirements Gathering
" Perform Functional Analysis in Customer/1 application
" Document Functional Requirements
" Develop mainframe code in COBOL/DBE/MQ for Customer/1 application
" Develop mainframe applications according to customer specifications and requirements
" Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions
" Work as part of a team to ensure solutions are designed to fully function in an integrated application suite
" Design and develop solutions that enable applications to perform optimally, and which can scale to meet future business needs
" Perform thorough unit and integration testing, and support QA testing and deployment activities
