Sourcing Analyst
Location : 333 Continental Blvd, El Segundo ,CA 90245
Duration : 6 Months+
Pay rate: $45/hr
Global Procurement Logistics team drives the sourcing of goods and services that support our worldwide operations.
The LATAM Global Procurement Analyst will be assigned certain Logistics categories and projects to manage towards positive outcomes. This includes assisting in or directly managing the execution of administrative and compliance requirements, cost saving initiatives, and regional sourcing projects with a focus on LATAM Logistics. Key Logistics areas include, but are not limited to, inbound transportation, customs brokers, distribution centers/ 3PLs, drayage, outbound transportation and other Logistics supporting services. Additionally, the role supports and partners closely with key Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance stakeholders at various management levels.
Responsibilities:
Support end-to-end RFI/ RFPs execution spanning from creation, distribution, and facilitation of the entire process through vendor selection, in collaboration with an Integrated Sourcing Team (IST).
Create executive presentations for project updates and other stakeholder and management communications.
Execute internal controls requirements (Legal documents review, execution and filing, approvals management, exceptions documentation, etc.) and identify risks.
Manage assigned projects and lead communications with LATAM Logistics stakeholders.
Partner with Finance and Logistics teams to align critical cost assumptions and reconcile actual spend against financial targets and negotiation results.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Build a general understanding of the market trends for assigned markets and categories.
Analyze spend to identify cost saving opportunities
Support source to pay process (supplier setup, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, etc.)
Drive usage of the Coupa e-sourcing platform.
Key Qualifications and Experience needed for success:
Fluent in Spanish and English
Bachelor's Degree with business or supply chain management preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of procurement/supply chain experience or related field or combination of education and experience.
Proven mathematical and data analysis skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with positive, customer-focus approach in combination with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment
Strong project management skills, experience in managing multiple projects at one time
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the workforce, including senior leadership and executive management.
Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and Procure to Pay processes
Proficient in Power Point & Excel
Experience of working with Business Information Systems - Knowledge/experience with Oracle and Coupa systems a plus
