JR Project manager -PMP

Seeking a jr Project manager for hybrid contract opportunity with my direct client in Maplewood MN.

Works with moderate work direction and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Coordinates all projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensure all project phases are documented appropriately. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Capable of supporting multiple projects simultaneously. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Key activities include:

Ensure all Regulatory Leads enter rebranding data accurately into RegDesk System.

Follow up on ad-hoc requests and tasks as they arise.

Assist in preparing agendas and slides for upcoming meetings.

Manually update statuses in the regulatory KPIs when necessary.

Track action items from weekly discussions.

Serve as a backup when lead PM is not available.

Support communication, including "change notification forms" and weekly newsletters.

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft applications, (Excel formulas, Power BI etc.)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear concise manner

Demonstrated project management skill set and/or certification (e.g. PMP)

Experience leading a cross-functional team

Demonstrated operational and strategic mindset that is results-oriented with a strong bias towards executing with speed, agility, and quality in addition to excellent organizational, prioritization, oral and written communication skills

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or higher AND two (2) years of experience in project/program management, product commercialization, regulatory/quality assurance, supply chain, or operations combined with experience specifically in project leadership

OR

High School Diploma/GED from AND seven (7) years of experience in project/program management, product commercialization, regulatory/quality assurance, supply chain, or operations combined with experience specifically in project leadership

2)Seeking a sr Project manager for hybrid contract opportunity with my direct client in Maplewood MN.

Location: Maplewood MN - onsite 3 days per week. This is the ideal situation, however if not local they can t relocate wants to stay remote. Remote is a last resort.

Hours: Global project, most deliverables coordinated in US time. 95% CST, but some potential for meetings outside standard hours.

Interviews: If local to Maplewood MN, in person. Otherwise, via Teams. 2 rounds.

Responsibilities include:

• Create or Update and manage high-level project plan and manage the schedule, dependencies, risks, and milestones .
• Coordinate project activities within cross-functional Team, in accordance with project plan, schedule and milestones.
• Leveraging existing tools and reports (Atlassian Jira, Tricentis qTest, Microsoft applications) for project activities and deliverables, creating reports when not present in collaboration with project resources.
• Define along with the project leadership, and facilitate the meeting and ways of working cadence, including: Project Weekly Team meeting, IT Leadership meeting, SteerCo meeting.
• Communicate risks, working with project resources to create prevention/mitigation plans where appropriate.
• Escalate risks and issues for which the project resources are unable to address.
• Provide a PowerPoint status report that will be used for the weekly project status and monthly steering committee meetings to communicate key topics for:
• Awareness and escalation of status, risks, blockers, dependencies, scope, decisions, and opportunities.
• Work with partners as needed, in the scope of work and context of the project.
• Manage project documentation and deliverables per IT project methodology, ensuring proper traceability for SDLC compliance.

Skills

• 8+ years of experience leading complex programs with multiple projects underneath.
• Ability to coordinate project activities through influential leadership to project workstream leaders, internal and partners.
• Excellent communication skills, tailored to different levels of organization (scrum Teams, product owners, project leadership, IT senior leadership, Business & Operations stakeholders).
• Large FinTech transformation program experience.
• Ability to synthetize projects progress, and escalate risks when necessary.
• Flexible to navigate multiple time zones on a weekly basis.
• Experience working with global teams and team members in different time zones
• Waterfall and Agile methodology knowledge.
• Applications knowledge, such as but not limited to Atlassian Jira, Tricentis ,qTest, Microsoft applications.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
