Job Title: Executive AV Video Conferencing Support Specialist

Location: Farmington, CT (On-site, 5 days/week)
Type: Full-Time, Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Executive AV Video Conferencing Support Specialist to provide dedicated support for video conferencing systems across a large enterprise campus. This fully on-site role focuses on ensuring flawless operation of AV and collaboration technologies in executive conference rooms, huddle spaces, and telepresence suites.
You will be responsible for daily system readiness, proactive maintenance, and executive-level support - ensuring that all video conferencing environments are optimized for high-quality, reliable communication.

Key Responsibilities

Room Readiness & System Validation
  • Perform daily walkthroughs of executive meeting spaces to verify AV system functionality.
  • Power on and test displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and control interfaces.
  • Validate connectivity and performance of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex systems.
  • Ensure all rooms are clean, organized, and presentation-ready for executive use.

Executive Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide white-glove support to C-level executives and leadership for scheduled video calls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV hardware, software, and connectivity - including HDMI, USB-C, and AV-over-IP systems.
  • Assist with device pairing, content sharing, and multi-participant video conferencing setups.
  • Coordinate with remote participants and internal teams to ensure seamless hybrid meeting experiences.

System Maintenance & Collaboration
  • Monitor AV system health and escalate issues to integrators or vendors as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and networking teams to resolve firewall, VLAN, or bandwidth-related issues affecting conferencing performance.
  • Maintain documentation of room configurations, recurring issues, and resolution steps.

? Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supporting AV and video conferencing systems in a corporate environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex.
  • Familiarity with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron), video codecs, and signal flow.
  • Ability to troubleshoot AV hardware (displays, cameras, microphones, speakers) and connectivity (HDMI, USB-C, network).
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills - comfortable working directly with executives.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Experience with AV-over-IP technologies (Dante, NDI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AV networking concepts (VLANs, multicast, QoS).
  • Certifications such as CTS (AVIXA), Crestron DMC-E, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft 365.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise campuses with multiple conferencing environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
