Job Details
- Need a highly experienced professional in Infection Prevention.
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience
- 2+ years of acute care infection prevention or healthcare epidemiology preferred.
- Two years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Working knowledge of health care practices, data management, patient care equipment, and products.
- Proficiency in data tracking and analysis, infection trend reporting, and creating statistical summaries.
- Must be able to develop surveillance strategies, investigate outbreaks, and recommend preventive measures.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and infection tracking software.
Education: Bachelor s degree in nursing or other related field, such as epidemiology, public health, or microbiology. Master s degree preferred.
Preferred: Master s degree and CIC certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 years).
Training: Completion of APIC EPI 101 within 12 months of hire.
