System Architect Salesforce

The System Architect Salesforce leads the strategic planning, delivery, and operation of IT systems supporting the client s Training Services business. This role bridges business strategy and technology, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while guiding the design and delivery of scalable, cost-effective Salesforce solutions aligned with organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with senior business and IT leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable technology roadmaps.

  • Lead Salesforce architecture, solution design, and technical oversight across multiple programs and workstreams.

  • Develop and manage IT delivery strategies, including in-house vs. outsourcing decisions, timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Ensure solutions meet functional, technical, and security requirements while adhering to IT standards and policies.

  • Provide Salesforce subject matter expertise and act as a technology steward promoting sustainable, future-ready solutions.

  • Monitor emerging technologies (including AI) to enhance efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership.

  • Oversee vendor performance and ensure system redundancy and operational continuity.

  • Collaborate across IT and business teams to deliver integrated, enterprise-grade solutions.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 7 years in leadership roles managing large Salesforce programs.

  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred).

  • Deep experience with the Salesforce platform and architecture.

  • Preferred Certifications: Salesforce CTA, Application Architect, or System Architect; additional certifications (Platform Developer I, Advanced Administrator, App Builder, Service Cloud, Community Cloud) are a plus.

  • Proven expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud implementations.

  • Strong program/project management skills; Agile, Scrum, and DevOps experience required.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

  • Familiarity with ITIL, Service Management tools (e.g., EasyVista), and data/integration technologies (MDM, APIs, ESB, iPaaS).

  • Solid understanding of enterprise security, data privacy, and governance.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence and align technical direction with business priorities.

  • Experience in SAFe environments and large, complex IT projects preferred.
