POS Tester - Gas Domain
Ankeny, Iowa
- Conduct end-to-end testing of POS systems used in gas stations, including fuel dispensers, payment terminals, back-office systems, and loyalty integrations.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts specific to the gas retail environment (e.g., pump authorization, fuel transactions, price changes).
- Test integration with forecourt controllers (e.g., Wayne, Tokheim, Gilbarco).
- Validate compliance with petroleum industry standards (e.g., PCI, EMV, EPA regulations).
- Perform functional, regression, system, and UAT testing of new and existing features.
- Collaborate with product, development, and support teams to ensure accurate defect tracking and resolution.
- Simulate real-world use cases such as split tenders, fuel grade selection, pre-pay/post-pay scenarios, and wet-stock management.
- Document detailed test results and provide insights into potential product risks.
- Support testing in both lab environments and live pilot deployments.
