Pre Sales Engineer- Network Protocols

$55 to $60 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $120K to $125K annually DOE
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to drive business expansion by providing technical expertise in traditional wired and wireless networking products and firewalls. The role requires hands-on experience with troubleshooting, installations, and network protocols/architecture. The selected candidate will partner with sales teams to design solutions, deliver demos, and ensure client needs are met with the right technologies.

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to drive business expansion by providing technical expertise in traditional wired and wireless networking products and firewalls. The role requires hands-on experience with troubleshooting, installations, and network protocols/architecture. The selected candidate will partner with sales teams to design solutions, deliver demos, and ensure client needs are met with the right technologies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.
- Provide hands-on support with troubleshooting, installations, and proof-of-concept testing when needed.
- Translate business requirements into network architecture and proposals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with network infrastructure technologies.
- Network protocols and architecture .
- Experience with the following network technologies: Routers, L2 & L3 switching, Wi-Fi.
- Knowledge of the following product lines: Juniper, Aruba, Extreme Networks, Arista, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Consultative pre-sales experience.
- Experience with Cisco .
