We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer with expertise in Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and embedded hardware development to join our innovative team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced hardware solutions, ensuring seamless integration with software systems. You will:

Work with ModelSim for VHDL/Verilog coding and simulations

Use Xilinx tools to develop high-speed, reliable computing architectures

Collaborate with software engineers

Drive hardware testing and performance optimization

Key Responsibilities:
-
Design, develop, and optimize FPGA-based hardware for high-performance applications

Use ModelSim for VHDL/Verilog simulation and validation
-
Implement and test FPGA designs using Xilinx tools

Collaborate with software engineers for hardware/software integration
-
Conduct hardware testing, debugging, and performance optimization
-
Develop and maintain technical documentation (schematics, specs, test procedures)
-
Stay current with emerging hardware technologies and industry trends
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering or related discipline
-
7 to 20 years of Systems Engineering experience

Five (5) additional years of SE experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree
Skills & Abilities:
-
Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering projects
-
Strong background in hardware or software engineering
-
Expertise in FPGAs, including architecture and implementation

Familiarity with ModelSim for HDL simulation

Hands-on experience with Xilinx development tools
Desired Skills:
-
Proficiency in software languages such as Java, C, C++, Ruby on Rails

Experience with operating systems like Unix, Linux, and Windows
