Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group is seeking a Senior Developer. Team Lead to support product engineering who will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining specific products and applications. You will work on a team of 5 and collaborate with various stakeholders and mangers and will be the first point of contact for any concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and support strategic products
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, conducting root cause analysis
  • Support release implementation, infrastructure upgrades, and maintenance testing
  • Provide training for production support teams and contribute to development standards
  • Perform design and code reviews, completing tasks on time with high-quality

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+ years related IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing, and testing of software systems in Java, Spring, and J2EE App servers on Red Hat Linux, UNIX, or AIX
  • Experience with complex system design and evaluating and proposing alternative software designs
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Sound RDBMS concepts and SQL skills
  • Experience in banking technology is a plus
