Job Description:

Thinking Minds Inc. is partnering with a leading materials distributor and service provider to seek a skilled SAP SD Process Engineer. Our client, operating across 40 countries with a significant presence in Southfield, MI, is dedicated to empowering businesses by delivering comprehensive materials solutions. As a Sr. SAP SD Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading SAP project teams, optimizing system performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP Project Teams in designing, configuring, implementing, and testing SAP changes within the SD module.
• Support business stakeholders in managing and optimizing the SAP System, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Provide innovative suggestions and options to meet evolving business requirements.
• Develop, configure, and test SAP SD modules, including order processing, shipping, and billing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate SAP SD with other modules such as WM, EWM, and MM.
• Design and implement complex business processes, with a focus on SD, Pricing, and ATP.
• Liaise with third-party applications and internal technical teams to develop comprehensive solutions.
• Facilitate electronic data interchange (EDI) implementations, including various transaction sets.
• Utilize both waterfall and Agile methodologies for project execution.
• Conduct system design, configuration, and testing to support corporate strategic objectives.
• Coordinate activities associated with SAP application design, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP process issues, ensuring proper integration with other modules.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions for project team members.
• Manage change management processes and promote standardized workflows.
• Willingness to travel up to 20-25% as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of ERP experience or equivalent in a process and systems-oriented environment.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0.
• Proficiency in SAP SD process design and analysis.
• Experience in designing functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-intensity environment.

Preferred Requirements:

• Ability to interpret technical documents and regulations effectively.
• Proficiency in report writing and business correspondence.
• Familiarity with reading and analyzing general business periodicals and professional journals.
