ETL Developer (Informatica/DataStage/Teradata) Onsite

Locations: Multiple onsite locations across the USA (specific locations discussed during screening)
Employment Type: W2 only (No C2C)

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced ETL Developers for full-time onsite positions across various client locations in the United States. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica or IBM DataStage, and database platforms such as Teradata. You will be part of a high-performing data engineering team, responsible for building robust data pipelines and integrating large-scale data from various sources.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica and/or DataStage.

  • Work with large datasets stored in Teradata and other relational databases.

  • Perform data analysis, profiling, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.

  • Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues with ETL workflows and SQL queries.

  • Ensure proper documentation of data flow, transformations, and technical design.

  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices and compliance standards.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on ETL development experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or IBM DataStage.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Teradata and other data warehouse environments.

  • Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets.

  • Proficiency in performance tuning, error handling, and ETL optimization techniques.

  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and SDLC.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys).

  • Exposure to cloud-based ETL platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Location: Must be willing to work onsite at client locations across the US. Travel or relocation may be required.
