Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst IV to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in analyzing complex business challenges and designing innovative system solutions to address organizational needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Analyze current business processes and technical workflows to identify areas for improvement and develop system recommendations to meet organizational needs.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather and define system requirements, including program functions, output specifications, and input data acquisition.
Lead the development and implementation of new or modified business information systems, ensuring alignment with functional objectives.
Coordinate user acceptance testing and system control processes to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Manage large-scale projects spanning multiple technical areas, ensuring timely delivery of key objectives and deliverables.
Develop creative solutions to complex technical challenges, leveraging advanced principles and frameworks.
Communicate effectively with internal team members, external vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
Provide expert guidance on best practices, optimization methods, and compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA.
Utilize tools such as Tableau, Python, and R to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, including cloud solutions, to enhance system performance and scalability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 8-12 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience is also acceptable.
Proven ability to analyze business problems and design effective system solutions.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and influence project outcomes.
Expertise in tools such as Python, Tableau, and R for data analysis and visualization.
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, technical frameworks, and storage optimization.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects with moderate impact across multiple technical areas.
Solid understanding of advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts, with the ability to apply them in innovative ways.
