Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications upon arrival at the warehouse and before reaching end customer.
- Will conduct quality control actions to detect, document, and helping resolve quality issues through systematic testing, measurement, and inspection activities.
- Performs measurements and tests to verify that products meet specifications and performance criteria.
- Able to identify non-conforming products, document defects, and initiate corrective action processes.
- Record inspection results, maintain quality databases, compile test reports, and analyze quality data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 9 or more years of relevant experience. May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Secret Clearance required.
- Ability to use measurement instruments, electronic testing equipment, and read drawings.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
- Experience generating quality reports and ability to communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Desired:
- Experience in a complex, highly technical and fast-paced environment. Previous Space Force experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail while also working towards high-level strategic objectives.
- Experience managing quality reports, and relevant quality documentation in a Digital Engineering environment such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Ability to implement and execute statistical sampling plans and quality control procedures.
