RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Performance Architect in Newton, MA.
Summary:
The Performance Architect will analyze system performance metrics and identify bottlenecks, providing recommendations for optimization and improvement. They will collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate performance considerations into the software development lifecycle, ensuring performance is a key focus from the outset. This role will develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools, ensuring they are up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have experience implementing and recommending performance improvements on cloud (Google Cloud Platform/Azure) and on-prem for tiered environments; Must be able to implement and recommend performance improvements on cloud (Google Cloud Platform/Azure) and on-prem for tiered environments
* Must have experience troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving applications code issues and other technical problems (hardware, software, Infra and network)
* Must be able to establish and enable golden signal for Application Health, build dashboards, identifying and establishing SLA's, set up alerting, logging and tracing as required
* Must be able to use network profiling using tools like WireShark, Fiddler as necessary to troubleshoot issues
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
