Job Details

Role: Data Architect

Location Hybrid, 2 days in Office - Groton, CT (LOCALS ONLY)

Experience: 14 Years

Act as the primary domain liaison with Pfizer stakeholders in Clinical, Lab, and Manufacturing data areas.

Capture requirements, validate lineage, and contextualize data flows across R&D systems.

Collaborate with Information Architect to define entity relationships and data models.

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 14 years of expertise in data modeling, including logical, dimensional, and 3NF data modeling. The ideal candidate will excel in designing robust data architectures that align with business objectives. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive our company s data strategy forward, without the need for travel.

Responsibilities :

- Design comprehensive data models that support business requirements and enhance data integrity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models.

- Ensure data models are scalable and adaptable to future business needs.

- Provide guidance on best practices for data modeling and architecture.

- Oversee the implementation of data models to ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Conduct regular reviews of data models to identify and address potential issues.

- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data models meet their needs and expectations.

- Utilize advanced data modeling tools to create efficient and effective data structures.

- Ensure data models comply with industry standards and regulations.

- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data models into existing systems and processes.

- Provide training and support to team members on data modeling techniques and tools.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data modeling practices within the organization.

Qualifications

- Possess extensive experience in logical data modeling, dimensional data modeling, and 3NF data modeling.

- Demonstrate proficiency in using data modeling tools and software.

- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Have excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
