Windows Software Application Packager (Chicago, IL OR Houston, TX)

Description:

• Seeking an experienced senior level Engineer with application packaging for enterprise with AppV, Flexera, WorkspaceOne, SCCM, inTune experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams to successfully develop solutions to meet the business requirements or maintain core engineering solutions. This position requires expert understanding of Windows 10, SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy, OSD & packaging troubleshooting using tools like procmon, regmon, eventviewer etc.
• Additionally, a strong background in scripting is desirable as it pertains to desktop management/automation via PowerShell and/or VBScript.

Tasks to be performed:

• Application packaging, User Acceptance Testing, OSD testing, peer QA, documentation of the solutions, retiring older/unused packages, workstation automation, scripting, Line of Business Application Profiles, Application Distributions, Administration of End User Management Tools.

Skillset Desired:

• Prior experience with a globally diverse organization, windows migrations, physical and virtual collaboration. Extensive experience with InstallShield AdminStudio, MSI, MST, custom actions, SCCM, registries, VBScripting, PowerShell, UAT, Windows 7, Windows 10, Edge, FireFox, Chrome, VMWare ESX, VMWare Workstation, O365, Adobe packaging tools.
• Ability to independently problem solve and be self-directed, having attention to details, the ability to capture, organize and analyze information, and to communicate and collaborate within the team and with business partners.
• Perform well under high pressure situations, meet tight timelines, manage challenging assignments, and handle flexibly a variety of business needs.
• Chicago-based role, minimum of two in-office working days from Willis Tower, flexible hybrid remote work days
