Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Analyst to support its SUITE Investment Management team. This role is critical to overseeing high-visibility IT projects funded through the IT Investment Fund (ITIF) and other strategic initiatives.
The IV&V Analyst will provide objective assessments of project health, ensure compliance with DTMB standards, evaluate the quality of deliverables, and identify project risks and mitigation strategies. The role will support both project- and portfolio-level oversight and provide regular reporting to DTMB executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform IV&V reviews for assigned IT projects
Assess project documentation including charters, plans, schedules, risk registers, and contracts
Evaluate deliverables for completeness and quality
Identify project risks, issues, and gaps in compliance
Monitor project performance in scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Deliver regular reports: IV&V service plans, health assessments, deliverable reviews, risk logs, and final summary reports
Present findings and briefings to stakeholders and executive leadership
Maintain independence while working closely with project teams and sponsors
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience with large or complex technology projects
Minimum 5 years providing IV&V or equivalent quality assurance services
Strong understanding of project management (PMBOK), risk, and QA methodologies
Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
Experience producing executive-grade reports and briefings
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or similar certifications
