Job Details
Position: Technical Support Engineer - Performance
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid Role)
Duration: 12 months (Possible extension/conversion)
Pay Range: $40-45/hr
Overview:
Manage and resolve the most challenging issues on Performance and instance availability. This includes being the last point of escalation within the technical support department and mentoring junior team members in the various technologies.
Required Skills:
- Strong SQL/Java/Linux experience
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service
- Strong Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
- Java experience preferred
- Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
- Experience working with dynamic HTML components: AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, XML, HTML, XHTML
- Deep understanding of JavaScript
