Recruiting Coordinator
Short-Term Contract | Talent Operations Support
Duration: 4-week contract (may extend or convert to full-time)
We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to provide short-term support to our recruiting team during a high-volume sourcing and market-mapping initiative. This role is focused on candidate sourcing, interest verification, and recruiting operations support—not full-cycle recruiting or candidate screening.
Contract Details
- Duration: 4-week contract (may extend or convert to full-time)
- Pay Rate: $30–$38/hour (W2)
- Status: Contract (W2)
The Recruiting Coordinator will support recruiters by identifying potential candidates, confirming interest and basic qualifications, and preparing candidates for handoff to senior recruiters. The role also includes recruiting-related administrative support and assistance with market-mapping and talent pipeline preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates using Indeed and iCIMS
- Conduct initial outreach to confirm candidate interest and basic role alignment (no formal screening or interviewing)
- Verify core qualifications per defined criteria and stage candidates for recruiter review
- Prepare and organize candidate lists for recruiter handoff
- Assist with market mapping efforts, including moving curated talent lists into marketing or outreach workflows
- Support recruiting-related administrative tasks (coordination, data entry, tracking, documentation)
- Follow detailed instructions while proactively asking clarifying questions when needed
- Operate efficiently in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities
- Prior experience with Indeed, iCIMS, or another ATS
- Background in recruiting coordination, HR, administration, or junior recruiting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Curious, driven, and eager to learn recruiting and talent operations
- Smart, responsive, and easy to communicate with
- Able to execute clearly defined tasks while thinking one step ahead
- Asks thoughtful questions and adapts quickly
- Interested in growing into a recruiting or talent role over time
- Motivated by performance and opportunity—many contract team members have converted to full-time roles
