Embedded Software Engineer
We're looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to help design, build, and support software that powers our advanced electronics. In this role, you'll work closely with hardware, R&D, and other engineers to create reliable solutions for connected systems.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in small, fast-moving teams, taking on a variety of challenges, and being hands-on across the full development process.
This role is 5-days Onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina.

What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain embedded software for microcontrollers and Linux-based systems.
- Work with C/C++ and integrate software with hardware components and peripherals.
- Collaborate with hardware and DSP engineers on system design and testing.
- Support connectivity features, communication protocols, and system integration.
- Contribute to system testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
- Follow best practices in coding, documentation, and version control.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Experience with embedded Linux
and scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar). - Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, LTE).
- Experience with debugging tools and Git.
- Great problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
