As part of our clients broader initiative to build a more mature and robust security practice, we are establishing a comprehensive Security Engineering program that spans multiple teams and disciplines. This program aims to cultivate a security-first mindset throughout our organization, embedding robust security practices into every aspect of our technology infrastructure and development lifecycle.
The Infrastructure Security Engineering team is a critical component of this program, responsible for consulting, designing and implementing secure infrastructure solutions that protect our systems, data, and customers, as well as coordinating with Live Nation Information Security and Privacy. As a member of this team, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our goal of building a world-class security practice that enables us to deliver secure and reliable experiences for our fans.
The Opportunity:
As a key member of our Infrastructure Security Engineering team, you will be at the forefront of our security transformation, cultivating a security-first mindset throughout our organization. Your mission is to lead infrastructure teams to confidently improve security posture, embedding robust security practices into the very fabric of our infrastructure design and implementation. We believe that security is not just a checkpoint, but a continuous journey that begins at the earliest stages of development and infrastructure planning. You will champion a ShiftLeft approach that integrates security seamlessly into our infrastructure lifecycle, leveraging purple team dynamics to foster a proactive security culture that anticipates, derisks, and mitigates threats before they materialize.
What you will do:
- Develop security programs and policies in coordination with the parent company Information Security team to ensure they meet the specific security requirements
- Asses non-security infrastructure and advising on security concerns and remediation strategies
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect Ticketmaster's technology infrastructure
- Guide infrastructure teams in security best practices and ensuring that security is considered in mature ways
- Identify and track security concerns, providing business risk ratings, and proactively providing solutions
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of security architectures and designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the technology infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, including public and private cloud security, as well as open source and vendor provided solutions, and applying this knowledge to improve the security posture of our infrastructure.
- 8+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in an architecture role Deep understanding of modern security practices, including ShiftLeft, Zero-Trust, and threat modeling
- Strong background in infrastructure security, cloud security, and network security architecture
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM), log aggregation, and security information and event management (SIEM)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Basic programming and/or scripting skills in languages such as Golang, Rust, Python, Powershell or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc) preferred
- Visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate and prepare for emerging security threats
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about infrastructure security challenges
- Collaborative approach, with experience working across different departments and levels of an organization to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our technology infrastructure
- Passion for staying current with the latest security trends, tools, and methodologies related to infrastructure security
- Experience in designing and implementing secure infrastructure solutions, including cloud-based and on-premises environments
- Experience in Agile, Scrum and SAFe methodologies is a plus
- Experience in the entertainment or ticketing industry is a plus
